Leptospirosis, the most common infectious zoonotic disease worldwide, is caused by a spiral-shaped bacterium called Leptospira. Exposure to dogs or rodents is considered to be a risk factor. We report a case of a 38-year-old-dog-walker with no prior co-morbidities, who presented to the emergency room with nonspecific febrile illness with multiorgan involvement, revealed to be leptospirosis.
