Dr. Stern is our imaging editor for The American Journal of Medicine, and a professor emeritus of radiology here at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. He served for many years as professor of radiology and chief of radiology at our affiliated VA hospital, the Southwest Veterans Administration Medical Center. I have participated in many teaching conferences with him as well as many exchanges concerning image manuscripts sent to The Green Journal. He is a definite skeptic, and so I take the observation reported here as valid and highly interesting.
