A 28-year-old Black African man with positive family history of hypertension and an established diagnosed of narcolepsy was referred to our outpatient clinic for recent onset of grade I hypertension. Narcolepsy was diagnosed at the age of 25, and for over one year was treated with Dexamphetamine 5 mg twice a day. His past medical history was unremarkable except for low vitamin D (not on treatment). From the age of 25 the patient underwent regular blood pressure screening and in the last 6 months had been presenting with increased blood pressure values.
