Vitamin E Acetate and E-Cigarette or Vaping Product-Associated Lung Injury (EVALI): An Update

We read with great interest the report by Conuel et al1 highlighting the negative effects of electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS) and its radiographic features. We wish to compliment this exemplary work with the recent updates unraveled by Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) highlighting the mechanism and causative agent for this lung injury. In their most recent report, the CDC has made some breakthrough advances to identify the culprit chemical being vitamin E oil in the vaping fluid.
