We present the case of a 19 year-old, 59 kilogram woman with a history of syncopal events since childhood. The events occur no more than once a year lasting less than one minute with complete recovery upon awakening and not associated with trauma. Previous evaluation of this issue at age 12 with echocardiogram and Holter monitoring revealed no cardiac pathology and she was advised to increase her salt and fluid intake; however, she continued to experience episodes.
