Blunt chest wall trauma can cause a wide variety of cardiac injuries,1 but myocardial infarction secondary to atherosclerotic plaque rupture is a rare occurrence. We present a rare case of myocardial infarction as a result of atherosclerotic plaque rupture of the right coronary artery (RCA) following blunt chest wall trauma.
